Sales dashboards

See where the revenue is actually coming from

Most businesses know their total. Far fewer can say which branch, which product and which rep produced it, or how that compares with last year. A sales dashboard answers those questions in one screen.

What a sales dashboard shows

Built from your own sales data, in the breakdowns you actually manage by.

  • Revenue and volume by month, with prior year comparison
  • Branch, outlet or territory performance side by side
  • Product and category mix, and how it is shifting
  • Sales rep or team performance against target
  • Customer concentration and top customer movement
  • Target versus actual, with the gap quantified

Who needs it

  • Multi-branch retailers and distributors
  • Businesses with a sales team on targets
  • Owners who only see one total number a month
  • Companies whose product mix is changing quietly
  • Anyone rebuilding the same sales summary by hand each month

What Starliks handles

What we do with your sales data.

  • Pulling sales from POS, invoices or your system exports
  • Standardising product and customer names across sources
  • Building a proper date and hierarchy model
  • Adding target and budget figures
  • Creating branch, product and rep views
  • Comparing against prior month and prior year
  • Highlighting the biggest movers in both directions
  • Flagging data problems that distort the picture
  • Publishing in Power BI or Excel
  • Refreshing on your agreed cycle
  • Adding new branches or products as they appear
  • Writing a short summary of what changed

What you provide

  • Sales data export covering the period you want
  • Your product and branch structure
  • Targets or budget, if you set them
  • Definitions for returns, discounts and cancellations
  • Who should see which level of detail

What you get out of it

  • Branch and product performance visible at a glance
  • Sales meetings arguing about actions, not figures
  • Quiet declines caught before they become a quarter
  • Targets tracked continuously rather than at year end
  • Manual sales summaries eliminated
  • History preserved for real year-on-year comparison

Frequently asked questions

Our POS export is a mess. Is that a problem?
No, it is the normal starting point. Cleaning and standardising the export is part of the work.
Can we see it on a phone?
Yes. Power BI dashboards can be viewed on mobile, and we design the key views so they are readable on a phone.
Can each branch manager see only their branch?
Yes, where your licensing allows row-level security we can set that up. Otherwise we produce separate views per branch.
How far back can you load history?
As far back as your data goes and you are willing to clean. Two years of history usually makes the dashboard far more useful.
Can this include profit, not just revenue?
Yes, if you can supply cost data. Margin by product and branch is usually the most valuable view we build.
