Frequently asked questions
Do we need a Power BI licence?
For sharing dashboards through the Power BI service, yes, and licensing is between you and Microsoft. If it is not worth it for your team, we will build in Excel instead and say so.
Can you fix a dashboard someone else built?
Yes. Reviewing and repairing inherited files is common work. Occasionally rebuilding the model is cheaper than repairing it, and we will tell you which applies.
Can you train our staff to maintain it?
Yes. Training is delivered through Starliks Campus, our training arm, and can be included in the handover.
How long does a first dashboard take?
It depends almost entirely on the state of the data. Clean single-source data is fast; reconciling several disagreeing sources is what takes the time.
Will you host our data?
Normally the data stays in your environment and your workspace. Where a different arrangement is needed it is agreed in writing first.
